Grand Prize (chosen from category winners): $20,000 cash and winner's $5,000 Category Prize to be donated to a charity of his/her choice.
Category Prizes (4 - 1 per category/chosen from finalists): $5,000 cash.
Finalist Prizes (12 - 3 per category): 3-day/2-night trip for one to Birmingham, AL, on September 17-19, 2008, to prepare his/her recipe in the Cooking Light test kitchens for judging; includes meals (ARV $3,000).
Sponsor Prizes (9): $500 cash.

Comments: Submit a recipe that is lower in fat and calories than traditional recipes and contains one or more of the following sponsor products: Annie’s Naturals, Al Fresco All Natural, Bird’s Eye Foods, Bush’s Beans, Eggland’s Best, Kerrygold Cheeses and Butters from Ireland, Nakano, Newman’s Own Pasta Sauces, Stacey’s Pita Chips and Swanson Broth. Each entry must contain a note explaining how you came up with the recipe. Categories: Starters and Drinks, Salads and Sides, Family Dinners, and Desserts.
