Comments: Write an essay between 1000 and 1250 words that answers the question: “How has the political and social environment affected the music of certain eras, and how does this directly or indirectly influence you?" Entries will be judged using the following criteria: originality, (25%), creativity (25%), composition (25%), and clarity (25%). Provide your full name, mailing address, college or university name and your email address on the essay.
