Nominee Contest Prize: $10,000 donation made to the animal welfare organization of winner’s choice, 30-second Public Service Announcement produced by Animal Planet in support of winner’s cause, trip for two to a destination of winner’s choice which supports the winner’s animal welfare passion, and $1,000 spending money (ARV up to $15,000).
Nominator Contest Prize: $1,000 check.
Nominator Sweepstakes Prizes (112 - 1 per day): $50 PetSmart gift card.

Comments: In 250 words or less, nominate yourself or someone with whom you are personally acquainted for the title: Animal Planet’s Hero of the Year. You may enter as often as you wish, but each entry must nominate a different person. Travel must be completed by November 30, 2009.
