Comments: All entries will be separated according to the 25 Milk Prize Regions. See rules for details. 20-25 semifinalists for each Region will be notified by registered mail and e-mail (if provided) on or before March 19, 2004 and asked to submit the Supplemental Materials: sealed transcript, letters of recommendation and a photograph (optional). The Supplemental Materials must be received no later than 3/26/04. Beginning on 4/12/04 three finalists per Region, for a total of 75 finalists will be selected. Each finalist will then be judged by the celebrity athlete designated for the finalists' respective region. One scholarship winner shall be selected for each Region. All judging will be executed according to the following criteria: Athletic Excellence (35%); Academic Achievement (35%); Leadership (15%); Citizenship/Community Service (10%), and the "Milk Experience" essay submitted with the original online application (5%).
