REI/Backpacker Camp Cook-off Contest

Grand Prize: 6-Day REI Adventures' Grand Staircase-Escalante hiking trip for two, all meals and up to $500 per person for airfare booked through REI Adventures. (ARV $3190 spring - $3790 fall).
First through Third Prizes: Camping and cooking gear prizes. (ARV $250).
Finalists Prizes (8): 3-day/2-night trip to the cook-off event on June 12, 2004 at Chatfield State Park near Denver, Colorado plus camping and cooking gear.

Comments: The competition consists of two parts. The first part consists of judging written entries and the selection of the eight (8) recipe finalists. The second part is the on-site cook-off event.
