| There will be a total of four (4) finalist Prizes awarded as follows: Each finalist prize will consist of a trip for two (2) persons, which must be the winning male/female married couple, to New York City, NY between February 12 - 16, 2003, including round trip coach air transportation from the commercial airport closest to the winning couple's residence and four (4) nights of hotel accommodations (double occupancy) and $1,000 cash for the winning couple. Each finalist Prize has an approximate retail value of $3,500. One Grand Prize winner will be determined (per above) from among the four (4) finalists. The Grand Prize will consist of a $5,000 gift certificate/shopping spree for use in New York City. The Grand Prize has an approximate retail value of $5,000. |
Comments: Fill-out the online entry form and compose an essay of 100 words or less describing why you will be "Married for Life." Entries must not contain any profanity, obscenity, hate speech or vulgarity, as determined in the Sponsor's sole discretion. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. ET, Friday, January 3, 2003. Limit to one entry per male/female married couple per household.
The four (4) finalists will participate in a live event in which the winning couples will be asked to respond to questions while his/her spouse is not present. The spouse will return and answer the same questions. Couples will earn points when their individual answers are the same or similar as their spouses, determined by the judges in their sole discretion. The final score of the event will represent 50% of the total score. The additional 50% of the score will be determined by a panel of expert judges who will rank the couples, 1 to 4, as the most likely to remain married for life based upon the following criteria: verbal communications skills 50% and nonverbal communications skills 50%.
