Stan Chambers 5th Annual Journalism Awards Competition

A total of 500 schools will be notified of the competition that invites high school senior students to submit essays on the theme “What Matters Most” for the opportunity to receive check awards to further their education. Five winners will each receive $1,000 and an opportunity to work in the KTLA Newsroom. The program honors KTLA’s veteran reporter and journalist for his contributions to the community.
